ANDREA VALENTI  professional freelance teacher and performer based in Berlin.
He is currently working for Garbicz Festival (2023) and he worked as Performer among the others, for: Felipe Fizkal in the Festival “Against the Grain” in TheaterForum Kreuzberg (DE), Companhia de Danca de Matosinhos with the choreographer Sara Silva, Horacio Macacua, Mafalda Deville and Giovanni Di Cicco.
He focuses his research and teaching experience mostly on: Flying Low, AcroFloorwork, Partnering and Improvisation.
He has been called as teacher in: “Danceworks Berlin 3 years professional dance education”, Berlin (DE); “Garbicz Festival”, Garbicz (PO); “International TanzWorkshop” in Schermbeck; “International TanzWorkshop” in Dresden (DE); “Papillon Tanz Studio”, Berlin (DE); “FLOWmotion” dance studio, Berlin (DE); “Mcf Belfioredanza”, Torino (IT); “Mafamood”, Porto (PT). Since 2020, he has been teaching in different countries: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany.
After years in couple dancing, He started his studies in the Contemporary Dance World in Turin with Maria Cristina Fontanelle and then studied several techniques as Flying Low, Passing Through, Floorwork, Acrodance, Partnering, Contact Improvisation, Physical Theatre and Somatic techniques among the others at TicTac Art Centre (Brussels, BE), NunArt Guinardò (Barcelona, ES), Teatro dell’Opera (Genova, IT) and Oficina Zero (Porto, PT). 
In 2019 and 2021, he completed the Contemporary Dance programs with the company “Deos Ensamble” (Teatro dell’Opera Genova, IT) directed by Giovanni Di Cicco and “Oficina Zero” (PT) directed by Mafalda Deville. In 2020, he finished the well-known “5 weeks intensive of Flying Low and Passing Through” made by David Zambrano. Moreover in the last years, he was allowed to teach the “Flying Low and Passing Through” technique. 
He studied with artists and choreographers among the others: Mafalda Deville, Sara Silva, Hélder Seabra, Elisabeth Lambeck, Horácio Macuacua, Joclécio Azevedo, Edivaldo Ernesto, Lali Ayguade, Michael Schumacher, Marion Sparber and Milan Herich.
He’s the founder of SIC Dance FESTIVAL in Lecce. 

Il FLYING LOW è una tecnica di danza sviluppata da David Zambrano.
In questa classe, studiamo diversi modi per arrivare nel pavimento, “entrare e uscire” da esso in modo fluido e senza sforzo.
In questa pratica, la velocità è usata come strumento per guidare l’energia potenziale gravitazionale seguendo le spirali interne del corpo e le curve dell’infinito nello spazio, al fine di generare uno stato di allerta e una interconnessione consapevole e costante con gli altri danzatori e lo spazio circostante
Struttura della lezione: “propongo una modalità organica che coinvolge tutto il corpo riducendo il più possibile lo sforzo muscolare e guido gli studenti in un riscaldamento iniziale e introduzione alla tecnica. A questo segue la spiegazione di movimenti più semplici e infine si studiano delle sequenze più complesse e veloci”
Nella mia ricerca personale, sto sviluppando un modo per includere movimenti acrobatici all’interno della tecnica del Flying Low.
